hello world,
i dont go clubbing too too often unless they have a special event. but usually when i go, i have a ton of fun =) but this time...haha i think the definition of "fun" went a little overboard =p
there was an event on saturday night at gossip called "ladies night". ladies get free drinks by 10:30pm and ladies get in free before 11:30pm. the last time me and my girls went there, we underestimated how many people would be there and we waited outside in line for almost 2 hours (-_-) so this time, since ladies get in free and u get free drinks, we wanted to go a little early to make sure we miss the lineup. usually doors open at 10pm which means u have half an hour to get all the shots u can handle! ...or so we thought.
met up with my girls around 950pm and headed towards the club. looking like losers...we were the only ones there. they were still setting up! so we went to a nearby hotel to hide until it was time to go on...hoping more people would arrive by then. there weren't too too many people in the beginning...until maybe around 1130..then the crowd starting picking up. i think maybe it was still finals week for a lot of people....but that night, there were more guys than girls in the club. the best thing about going to a club...is that guys buy you drinks =) so all you really need to pay for is coat check and maybe admission..(depending on the event). but did i mention that the free shots we got were absolutely DISGUSTING!? idk what it was called but it was green....so i thought it was pretty cool....until u drink it. tastes exactly like mouthwash!! omg i almost threw it up and gave it back to the bartender =/
so after debating whether we wanted to get on the dancefloor and lose our table or just take turns dancing, this guy comes up to us and offers to buy us drinks so we can stop being chickens and get on the dance floor. but the thing is, we werent being chickens because we were afraid to dance...we just wanted to keep our table so when we get tired, we can sit down and rest for a bit. so we decided to get the drink and lose the table =) which was a pretty good decision. after a few drinks, we started dancing...and then the dougie song came on and everyone formed a circle and guys just did their best dance moves in the middle. basically, long story short....i dont know how many guys had offered us drinks that night...and a lot of them, we had to turn down because it was just too much. funny thing is, after they buy us drinks, we end up ditching them, move somewhere else in the club, and another group of guys would offer to buy us drinks. near the end, guys would just introduce themselves and have drinks in their hands already!! i went home and all my parents could smell was alcohol. guys were just too generous that night. i dont know how many $50 bills i've seen going out the wallet and into the bartenders hand.
was a fun night though =) this one guy dragged me outside to talk and he was telling me about his apartment and showing me pictures and tryna get me to go back with him later....i was like SUUUREEE! =D and then ditched him after he bought a couple drinks. it was one of the best clubbing night i've ever had. and we're hoping to do it all over again the last weekend of this month =) it's the clubs 1 year anniversary on the 28th but my friend is having some sort of surprise event for us on the 27th...she says its party related and its not just clubbing so..im stoked! =)
my cousin is finally coming home from edmonton. she has been away for far too long! we've been through ups and downs but we've made it through together. i'm sad i wont be able to go and pick her up with her family but i will definitely see her when she's back! =) i also start summer classes in may. it has been far too long since i've been to school...i feel dumber and dumber each day! i can't wait to go back!
